Why SMARTcube?

After a stroke, injury or surgery, the pathways involved in hand sensation and movement can be disrupted. Recovery may take time, and access to therapy can mean long gaps between appointments.
SMARTcube is being developed as a simple tool for repeated, structured sensory and motor practice. Its tactile surfaces give the hand different textures to explore while encouraging attention, movement and dexterity.
